Now that life has settled down, I definitely plan on keeping up with this blog, too! I just got a new book today and I am SUPER excited about it!!!!! I have a project in mind and will post pictures once it's complete (and to my liking :)).
ETA: This is what I'm most excited about in my new book! (though there are MANY things that I love :))

ReplyDeleteBack in the 80's, I made an NFL quilt for David. It was supposed to hang on the wall, but it ended up too big(tall). Back then, the NFL had only 28 teams, so I put them in divisions and conference. Each square was crocheted and then embroidered (crewel work really) with the logo of the team.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure where I got the energy/creativity to do that. I would never tackle that today, but I sure enjoyed it back then. It's on my Flickr site if you want to see it (ncquilter)
